FIELD: measuring technology.

SUBSTANCE: device relates to measuring technology, namely, measuring the temperature gradient of objects using thermocouples, and can be used in industries and scientific experiments as part of automated control systems (ACS) in conditions of high levels of electrical interference. As a rule, the task of the automated control system is to automatically adjust the temperature of the object so that the gradient value between the selected points has a minimum value or is maintained at a given level. A device for measuring small temperature differences is claimed, in which the midpoint of the differential thermocouple connection is connected to a common point of the measuring node, as which an instrumental difference amplifier with symmetrical inputs is installed, and a switching controlled relay is installed between the differential thermocouple and the instrumental difference amplifier with the possibility of disconnecting the differential thermocouple and connecting resistors instead of it, the values of which are equivalent to the thermocouple resistances.

EFFECT: increase in noise immunity against external electromagnetic influences, an increase in the accuracy of measurements of small temperature differences, ensuring the possibility of use in automated control systems, as well as the expansion of functionality.
