SUBSTANCE: invention relates to animal husbandry, veterinary medicine and ecology. A microelement analysis of the hoof horn of pigs is carried out, the concentration of Co and/or Mg in the hoof horn is determined, regression equations for the concentration of Co and/or Mg in the hoof horn are calculated, and the Zn content in the kidneys is determined according to the original formulas.
EFFECT: method is accurate, non-invasive and non-traumatic, simple and convenient to study.
