SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as a test for in vivo assessment of the level of manganese in the liver of pigs. The method consists in determining the level of urea in the blood serum using a biochemical analysis and calculating the regression equation: x=2.034+0.919y, where y is the content of urea in mmol/l in the blood serum, and x is the content of Mn in mg/kg in liver.
EFFECT: method causes a minimum level of stress and provides an accurate intravital assessment of manganese in the liver of animals.
