FIELD: sorting.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to methods for X-ray fluorescence piece-by-piece sorting of mineral raw materials and can be used for sorting ores of ferrous, non-ferrous, rare and precious metals, mining chemical raw materials and solid fuels by quality. The method for X-ray fluorescence sorting of ores with a complex material composition includes irradiating the flow of pieces with X-ray or gamma quanta, recording the spectrum of secondary scattered and characteristic radiation from the piece and processing the spectrum according to the algorithm, determining the sorting and technological type of each ore piece in the sorted raw materials by analysis and X-ray fluorescence separation thereof. The sorting and technological type of each ore piece in the sorted raw materials is determined at the stage of piece-by-piece X-ray fluorescence separation. First, the correspondence of the spectrum to a specific sorting and technological type is determined, the corresponding separation algorithm is selected, and then the separation parameter is calculated by processing the spectrum according to the corresponding algorithm, the value whereof the piece is attributed to one of the sorting products and attached to the corresponding product. The algorithm for attributing a piece to a specific sorting and technological type is formed by fuzzy logic methods.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency, accuracy and quality of separation.
