FIELD: aviation technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation technology; it is designed for measuring aerodynamic loads acting on a gliding parachute (GP) in the process of intensive tightening control slings before landing in order to reduce a landing speed – “dynamic demolition” of a dome. A device contains a base, attachment points of main slings, strain gauge weighers, pivots with sensors of pitch and roll angles. On the base, a platform is pivotally fixed with mechanisms of changing length for the control sling placed on it, between the platform and attachment points of main slings, measuring units, independent of each other, are installed for determining a tension strength vector of main slings.
EFFECT: expansion of the functionality and increase in the accuracy of determining characteristics: the possibility of determination of non-stationary loads acting on the parachute, when tightening control slings, the possibility of recording angular parameters of the parachute movements, an increase in the accuracy of measurement of the value and speed of control sling movement.
