FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft experimental investigations in aerodynamic tunnels and can be used for dynamic tests of aircraft models in aerodynamic tunnels. Device consists of a model installed on a post in the ADT by means of a three-degree-of-freedom support. In the model there is an inner compartment with a bottom installed on a spring and a cover with a lock controlled remotely from the control panel. In the compartment there is a parachute attached to the tail part of the model.

EFFECT: technical result is the possibility to instantly stop uncontrolled motion of the aircraft model at its dynamic tests for stability and controllability, herewith there are no impact loads onto the model and up to the operation it does not affect the model flow slip, that increases accuracy of the tests.
