FIELD: aviation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aviation engineering and is intended for determining non-stationary aerodynamic force of a gliding parachute in a wind tunnel with intensive tightening of control lines. The device comprises a base with a heading hinge and a heading sensor, a main platform with main line attachment points and control line winches, load balances, and pitch hinges. In this case, the main platform is provided with an additional platform connected to the base by a roll hinge with a roll angle sensor, and independent measuring units for measuring the vector of the total aerodynamic force of the parachute are installed between the platforms.
EFFECT: invention provides the possibility of measuring the vector of the total aerodynamic force of the parachute when tightening the control lines at different speeds by different values, increasing the accuracy of determining the characteristics and reducing the processing time of the experimental data.
