FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering field, and more specifically to protective casings. The coupling guard of high-speed rotors dynamic equipment is an external detachable metal cylinder with cooling air inlet and outlet pipes and a cooling zone of the coupling. Inside outer metal cylinder, coaxially with latter with a guaranteed clearance, an additional detachable inner cylinder is installed open at both ends, equipped with flanges removed from coupling flanges. The inner cylinder covers the central part of coupling and is connected to the outer cylinder by at least one partition with windows. The cooling air supply pipes pass through the outer cylinder and the inner cylinder, connecting the cooling air atmosphere with space between coupling and inner surface of the inner cylinder. The inner cylinder can be connected to outer cylinder, for example, by two partitions equipped with windows.
EFFECT: increase in cooling efficiency is achieved.
