FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for measuring the temperature of a current collector, a structure for induction heating, an aerosol-generating apparatus, and an aerosol-generating system. The structure for induction heating comprises a cavity, at least one induction coil configured to generate a changing magnetic field when a changing electric current flows through at least one induction coil, at least one current collector located relative to at least one induction coil so that at least one current collector is heated by penetration of the changing magnetic field, and at least one temperature sensor. The method includes providing at least one temperature sensor in heat contact with at least one current collector, measuring the temperature of at least one current collector when a changing electric current does not flow through at least one induction coil.
EFFECT: accurate measurement of the temperature of the current collector is ensured.
