SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the tobacco industry, namely, to an aerosol-generating system and an aerosol-generating apparatus. The aerosol-generating apparatus using induction heating comprises a body with a chamber with dimensions allowing for accommodation of at least part of the aerosol-forming product. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a first spiral induction coil located at least partially around or adjacent to the chamber. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises a second spiral induction coil located at least partially around or adjacent to the chamber. The first spiral induction coil is part of the first resonant circuit with a first resonant frequency. The second spiral induction coil forms part of a second resonant circuit with a second resonant frequency. The aerosol-generating apparatus comprises an elongated element in the form of a current collector, configured to perform induction heating using one or both of the first and second spiral induction coils in order to heat at least part of the aerosol-forming substrate included in the aerosol-forming product, when the aerosol-forming substrate is at least partially placed in the chamber. Also disclosed is an aerosol-generating system including the aerosol-generating apparatus.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of using the aerosol-generating apparatus due to the provided possibility of changing the heating profile.
