FIELD: electrical safety devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical safety devices for vehicles with electric traction. The rail vehicle contains a pyrotechnic disconnecting device and a conductive track with pyrotechnic disconnection. In this case, the pyrotechnic disconnecting device is connected to a control unit designed to generate a signal (AS) for the initiation of the pyrotechnic disconnecting device in the presence of a shutdown condition and to open the conductive path. Wherein the control unit produces an initiation signal if the integral formed during this time by integrating the square of the current in the conductive track exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

EFFECT: ability to quickly, reliably and hardware low-cost disconnection of the wiring line.
