SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a liquid oral pharmaceutical dosage form for the treatment of a gastric disease or disorder and its application method. The proposed liquid oral dosage form contains: a) pharmacologically effective amounts of famotidine as a histamine H2-receptor antagonist in oil, which is medium chain triglycerides; and b) pharmacologically effective amounts of at least one antacid in liquid; wherein a) and b) are physically separated from each other. A method for the treatment of a gastric disease or disorder by using this liquid oral dosage form is also proposed.

EFFECT: use of medium chain triglycerides provides improved stability of famotidine in the liquid oral dosage form in comparison with other oils with long chains of fatty acids.
