FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, in particular to the production of an electrode for the manufacture of powder materials from titanium alloys, which can be used for additive and granular technologies. For the manufacture of the electrode, titanium alloy foundry waste is used, pre-sorted according to the required chemical composition, which is cleaned from the cast crust in a shot blasting chamber and processed in a tumbling machine for 30 minutes to clean from oxide contamination. Then smelting is carried out in a vacuum scull furnace and casting into molds with the formation of an electrode.
EFFECT: spherical powders with a particle size corresponding to the requirements of additive and granular technologies and low oxygen, hydrogen and nitrogen content, manufacturing eco-friendliness and high productivity are provided.
