FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to production of titanium metal powders from wastes. Method involves electroerosion dispersion of OT4 grade wastes in propyl alcohol at electrode voltage of 80–100 V, capacitance of capacitors of 55.0–57.5 mcF and pulse repetition rate of 160–180 Hz.
EFFECT: ensuring environmental cleanliness of the process and obtaining a spherical powder with fractional composition of 20–60 mcm.
