FIELD: metal processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of metals by pressure. A transverse-longitudinal extrusion of a workpiece is performed to obtain a glass, and its wall is thinned by extraction. A matrix is used, a cavity of which has a cylindrical section of a smaller diameter with a pusher placed in it and a cylindrical section of a greater diameter with a punch placed in it. The extrusion and thinning of the wall are performed by stamping of the workpiece by stages. At the first stage, the first stage of the workpiece extrusion is carried out, installed on the pusher end. At the second stage, by moving the matrix in the direction of the punch and the pusher, a final stage of the extrusion and the beginning of the thinning of the glass wall are carried out. At the third stage, by moving the matrix in the direction of the punch at the fixed pusher, the extraction of the glass wall with its thinning is carried out.

EFFECT: providing for an increase in the accuracy of product dimensions and a reduction in the number of operations at its manufacture.
