FIELD: metal casting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to continuous casting of metal. The device for continuous casting and deformation of flat billets contains a movable composite mold mounted on drive shafts with eccentric bushings, containing two strikers with end surfaces and side walls. The surface of the first striker, mounted on the drive shaft with an eccentric bushing, providing the movement of the striker corresponding to a low-frequency vibration with an amplitude of (0.5-1) mm and a frequency of (40-50) Hz, is made vertical. The end surface of the second striker contains inclined and vertical sections. Eccentric bushings on the drive shafts of the strikers are installed in coordination with each other with the possibility of rotation in opposite directions and providing reciprocating motion towards each other.
EFFECT: improvement of the quality of the obtained blanks is ensured.
