SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used to obtain a bimetallic profile. The device for obtaining a bimetallic profile contains two water-cooled crystallizers: for obtaining a profile and for applying a cladding layer to the profile. The mold (2) for producing a profile contains strikers and vertical walls and is configured to feed the obtained profile into the mold (4) for applying a cladding layer. The crystallizer (4) for applying the cladding layer to the profile contains strikers for applying the cladding layer and the rollers guiding the profile. A device (10) for measuring the profile temperature and a module (11) for increasing or decreasing the profile temperature are located in front of the mold for applying the cladding layer.

EFFECT: uniformity of the properties of the resulting product throughout the volume is ensured by feeding the profile in a continuous mode at a given temperature.
