FIELD: aircraft technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the fields of application of unmanned aircraft and mechanical manipulators, in particular to methods of conducting rescue operations in an emergency situation with the help of unmanned aircraft. A method for carrying out rescue operations using an unmanned vertical take-off and landing aircraft, powered by an electric battery, equipped with a manipulator and a cassette, the cells of which are equipped with tools and cartridges with consumables, in which the cassette cells are filled with equipment; the unmanned aircraft is equipped with a cassette; the unmanned aircraft is launched to the task location; the unmanned aircraft lands upon arrival at the location; the contents of the cell are connected to the free end of the manipulator; the internal retractable sections of the telescopic links of the manipulator are drawn out; a rescue operation is carried out; the internal retractable sections of the telescopic links are returned to their original position; the equipment is returned to the cassette cell; the unmanned aircraft returns to its original position.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of solutions for emergency rescue operations.
