FIELD: anti-fogging methods.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for forming a reflective anti-fogging product, as well as an anti-fogging mirror and an anti-fogging composition. The method comprises the steps of applying an anti-fogging composition to a major surface of a reflective substrate, the anti-fogging composition comprising an anti-fogging agent. As the agent, polyurethane and a carrier liquid are used, the solids content of the composition being from 10 wt.% to 30 wt.% based on the total weight of the anti-fogging composition, and the carrier liquid contains water and a hydroxyl-containing component. The reflective substrate is then heated to a temperature of 48.889°C to 162.778°C during the drying period.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create articles that are resistant to fogging and can be formed at a rapid production rate without damaging aesthetic properties such as yellowing of a reflective surface, surface distortion or imperfections.
