The compass for orienteering contains a flask with a magnetic arrow and a board to which a strap is attached for carrying the compass on the finger, and the board has a face-line of the course, the continuation of which passes through the center of the flask, the board has a cutout covering the middle part of the face-line and the adjacent part of the plane of the board. At the same time, transparent rods with markers at the ends in the form of colored dots and a reference distance between the markers are located on the continuation of the course face-line on both sides of the cutout.
