SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. A method for isolating biologically active substances of antimicrobial action from cell cultures of spiny eleuterococus Eleutherococcus senticosus Rupr. Maxim. is proposed, which includes the cultivation of cellular callus, suspension or root cultures of spiny eleuterococus in vitro, extraction of biologically active substances from the callus culture with ethyl alcohol or methanol, with diethyl ether from suspension or root cultures, stirring in a shaker for 60 minutes at room temperature or at a temperature of 60°C, separation of the dry mass by filtration, centrifugation and evaporation at reduced pressure.

EFFECT: invention provides for the production of an extract of biologically active substances of a callus, suspension or root culture of spiny eleutherococus, which has antimicrobial activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms.
