FIELD: railways.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of railway rolling stock, in particular to freight cars with a design speed of more than 120 km/h. The brake system contains two air distributors of a cargo type, located on the car body and working independently of each other, each of which is connected by air ducts through an isolation valve with a brake line, with a reserve reservoir, through a flexible hose from the brake system of one of the bogies, which includes in series connected auto and brake cylinders. The braking system contains one or two emergency braking accelerators connected to the brake line, performing additional air release from it when emergency braking is performed.
EFFECT: improving the efficiency and reliability of the brake system by simplifying its design, accelerating the growth of braking force during braking, increasing versatility, the ability to turn off the car brake on a bogie, shortening the length of the supply air line, accelerating the process of releasing air in the brake line along the length of the train and accelerating the process of filling the brake cylinders along the length of the train, which leads to a decrease in the length of the braking distance of a train consisting of freight cars and a decrease in longitudinal-dynamic forces equipped with emergency braking accelerators.
