FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for measurement of density and other physical parameters of drilling fluid directly in process of well drilling. Into a device for measuring density of drilling fluid in an alloyed drill pipe, comprising a radiation source, a detector, a measuring pipe section and an indicator, a signal input element is introduced into the measurement section of the pipe, a metal pin moving along the surface of the measuring section of the pipe, measuring section of pipe with length of several half-waves is made of dielectric material and is connected in series with ends with light alloyed drill pipe, wherein output of radiation source is connected to signal input element to measuring section of pipe, output of metal pin is connected to input of detector, output of which is connected to input of indicator.

EFFECT: technical result is the simplification of the drilling mud density measurement procedure.
