SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a method for determining a flow of bulk material mass, in particular grain cultures, directed using infinitely reversible transporting device (30) containing planar transporting elements (58) from below-located area (40) of capturing bulk material to above-located area (42) of unloading bulk material, in which bulk material unloaded from transporting device (30) is deviated in the direction of measuring device (70) by means of guiding surface (66) located in area (42) of unloading bulk material, wherein the mass flow is determined by measuring resultant force (F_G) acting on sensitive surface (68) of measuring device (70). The method provides for compensation of friction force transmitted by bulk material to sensitive surface (68) and impacting on the measurement of resultant force (F_G) by the location of measuring device (70), in which resultant friction force (F_R) acts in the direction perpendicular to the direction of measurement of measuring device (70), as well as determination of slope of measuring device (70) and adjustment of a measured value of resultant force (F_G) taking into account the determined slope.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of measurement.
