SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for processing and disposal of solid household and municipal waste at landfills. The method for storing solid waste and solid municipal waste includes layer-by-layer placement of solid waste and bio-additives. At the same time, electric heating cables are laid in the base of the landfill at the construction stage. In the course of filling in the landfill maps, drainage pipes tied with an electric heating cable are laid in the thickness of the waste. After purification, biogas obtained at the landfill is used as fuel for a gas piston power plant that generates electricity to power an electric heating cable that heats the landfill.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of decomposition of the organic part of waste, regardless of the climatic conditions of the location of the landfill, as well as the intensification of the process of biogas formation and the continuity of biogas formation.
