FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to compensators and devices for their control. The expected result is achieved by the fact that the compensator includes: the first current converter, which includes six auxiliary circuits, while the mentioned auxiliary circuits include a series-connected complex power unit and an electric reactor; the said complex power unit includes: the first power unit and the second power unit connected in series or the second power unit connected in series; the first transformer includes at least the first side winding and the second side winding, while the said first side winding is connected to the connector on the AC side of the said first current converter, and the said second side winding is connected in series to the circuit of the AC system; both ends of the said second winding are connected in parallel to the switch; the mentioned switch is connected in parallel with the first transformer, after which it is included in the circuit of the AC system.
EFFECT: invention provides an optimization of the system flows and ensures safe and reliable prevention of emergency current on the DC side.
