SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the subway, in particular to devices for the physical protection of people from falling from passenger platforms on the station tracks, and can be used at under construction and existing subway stations. A platform sliding fence for metro stations is made of a pencil case, movably installed in its inner cavity of a sliding sash, a swing sash movably attached to the front end face of the sliding sash, a drive shaft with an electric motor and two drive gears fixed to it, two pushers, each of which in its rear part it is equipped with a toothed bar engaging with a counter drive gear, two rocker arms of an arched shape, each of which is connected by means of hinge links to the front part of the pusher and a shoe rigidly fixed to the swing leaf, a corrugated casing attached from the opposite side from the platform edge to the end face of the sliding leaf and the side face of the swing leaf.
EFFECT: technical capabilities of the fence are increased, and the convenience of its operation is increased.
