FIELD: firefighting.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition of a functional filler for a fire extinguishing powder composition based on ammonium phosphates. The functional filler comprises dispersed silicon dioxide particles hydrophobised with polymethyl hydrosiloxane. As components, the filler comprises mesoporous particles of silicon dioxide MSM-48, 65 to 85 wt.%, with a specific surface area greater than 1,000 m2/g, together with silicon dioxide particles of the Aerosil 380 brand, 15 to 35 wt.%. The particles are hydrophobised in an organic solvent medium at a component ratio silicon dioxide/hydrophobising agent of 80/20 wt.%.
EFFECT: fire extinguishing effectiveness of the powder compositions based on ammonium phosphates is increased due to the increased specific surface area thereof.
