The predominant area of ​​use is transport engineering, in particular, car building, specifically anti-roll bars (lateral tilt) of railway, mainly double-deck passenger cars, for example, promising electric and hydrogen rolling stock. The ball joint contains a spherical friction pair, a body (1) with an element (2) of its fastening on one of the movably connected parts and a ball pin (3) or a ball axis (3) built into it with external ones in relation to the body (1), fastening elements on another movably connected part. The latter are made in the form of end sections (4, 5) of an opposed and symmetrical design, with seating surfaces (7, 8), through holes (9, 10) for bolts and flat surfaces (14, 15) for bolt heads. The seating surfaces (7, 8) are convex semi-cylindrical, the generatrices of which are parallel to the longitudinal axis (13) of the pin or axis (3). The end sections (4, 5) of the pin or axis (3) can be made cylindrical, with one-sided flats (14, 15), forming the aforementioned flat surfaces for the bolt heads.

EFFECT: improving the technical and operational characteristics (capabilities) of the hinge and the assembly unit (machine, mechanism) as a whole: increasing the compactness, efficiency and service life.
