FIELD: biotechnology, in particular, suspension cultivation of cells of tissues or microorganisms. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical vessel with cover and branch pipes fro supply of aerating gas and discharge of gaseous medium, and device for aeration and mixing of medium. The latter includes horizontal bucket wheel attached to vertical hollow shaft and located in vessel upper part, directly under cover, circular partition installed in cylindrical vessel coaxial to bucket wheel to form gap between cylindrical vessel wall and circular partition, and mechanism of stabilization of position of circular partition with respect to surface of liquid phase. Stabilization mechanism is made in the form of guiding members and floats located on circular partition. Guiding members are attached to upper surface of circular partition by means of struts or to upper and lower surfaces of circular partition and are removable and made in the form of radially oriented with respect to circular partition blades with flat upper and convex lower surfaces of antiwing type. Blades have units for varying angle of attack relative to oncoming gas or liquid flow. Blades are attached to struts on circular partition under it. Design of apparatus allows cultivation of cells or microorganisms having different demand in oxygen and provides for attainment of their higher concentration in suspension.
