FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to osteopathy, and can be used in therapeutic and health-improving activities. Palpatory-percussion tissue diagnostics is performed, in the course whereof one (palpatory) of the hands of the doctor is placed on the skin of the patient (on the arm or leg), the second (percussion) hand performs double tapping of the assumed area of lesion. The doctor evaluates the tissue response in the form of a change in tissue tension, changing in the presence of dysfunction, by the palpatory hand. In the event of a two-time stimulus, a compensatory lesion (secondary somatic dysfunction) is identified, and in the event of a three-time stimulus, a primary, true lesion is identified. Further, the identified dysfunctions are corrected, and for this purpose, the doctor simultaneously performs a two-time percussion stimulus in the area of true lesion and compensation, with subsequent irritation of the periosteum, followed by a retest: the doctor performs repeated diagnostics of the dysfunctions by the above method, in the absence of a tissue response on tapping of the areas of lesion, the correction is considered completed.
EFFECT: method ensures simplification and reduction in the time of correction of somatic dysfunctions.
