FIELD: medicine; manual therapy.
SUBSTANCE: first half of the day, a course of procedures is carried out using osteopathic methods of correction, massage and exercise therapy. A complex of osteopathic correction techniques aimed at eliminating somatic dysfunctions and restoring breathing is carried out according to a regimen that includes correction of structural dysfunctions of the ribs, respiratory dysfunctions of the ribs, dysfunctions of the thoracic spine, abdominal diaphragm, and auxiliary respiratory muscles of the upper aperture. The first correction procedure is carried out upon admission of the patient for rehabilitation, the second procedure is carried out before the completion of the rehabilitation course, each lasting 30-40 minutes. Also, a course of massage procedures is carried out, consisting of four procedures every other day, the duration of each procedure is 30 minutes. A course of physical therapy is conducted, consisting of four procedures every other day; the duration of each procedure is 30 minutes.
EFFECT: invention provides improved mobility of the diaphragms of the thoracic and upper aperture, mobility of the spinal motion segments, increased chest excursion, improved external respiration function, namely: vital capacity (VC), forced vital capacity (FVC), saturation (SPO2); the degree of shortness of breath decreases, tolerance to physical activity increases, the quality of life of the patient improves significantly in a short time.
