FIELD: transportation; data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlling movement of vehicles (V), namely to automated systems for traffic control and detection of traffic violation at crossroads, railway crossings or pedestrian crossings. System comprises recognition telecamera, surveillance telecamera, processor unit, communication module, and radar module. Radar module is configured for measuring speed, range and azimuth angle of V position. Processor unit is configured for calculating V motion path in controlled zone basing separately on data received from telecameras and on data received from radar module with subsequent superposition of results of calculations and their combined processing.
EFFECT: increase of accuracy and reliability in identifying targets, as well as expansion of system functionality.
