SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely, to a method and system for an internal cardiac imaging system. When implementing the method, a first dataset of anatomical or electrical measurements of the heart of the patient is taken for the first cardiac section. The first dataset is determined by sensing by means of a catheter. A first range of values is determined in the first dataset based on the maximum and minimum data values of anatomical or electrical measurements of the heart of the patient in the first set of said data. First visual characteristics corresponding to the first range of values are determined. A second cardiac section is identified based on the analysis of the changes in the data of anatomical or electrical measurements of the heart of the patient, corresponding to the first cardiac section over the surface area of the heart. A second range of values is determined in the second dataset of anatomical or electrical measurements of the heart of the patient for the second cardiac section. The second cardiac section therein corresponds to an area in the first cardiac section. The second dataset comprises a subset of the first dataset. Second visual characteristics corresponding to the second range of values are determined. A first global view containing the first cardiac section is provided for display with the first visual characteristics. A second local view containing a second cardiac section smaller than the first cardiac section displayed with the second visual characteristics is provided for display. The second local view is therein superimposed on the first global view at the location in the first view corresponding to the second cardiac section. The second local view is displayed based on a narrower range of data of the measurements of the heart of the patient compared to the range of data corresponding to the first global view, so that the second range of values and the second visual characteristics are configured to provide distinguishable detailed data details corresponding to the smaller second cardiac section when viewing the second visual characteristic in the local view. The internal cardiac imaging system comprises a catheter, a processor. The processor is configured to ensure implementation of the method. The catheter comprises an element configured to determine the first dataset of anatomical or electrical measurements of the heart of the patient from the first cardiac section by sensing.
EFFECT: provided are a system and method for internal cardiac imaging, configured to display detailed data details in a second local view, corresponding to a smaller second section of a body part, allowing for identification of tissue areas such as scars, dead tissue, overactive tissue, electrical signal rotors.
