SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical technology. An imaging device for determining the properties of the subject’s skin contains an image sensor unit for generating an image of a skin sample, and the skin sample corresponds to a portion of the subject’s skin in the field of view (FV) of the image sensor unit when the subject’s skin is at a predetermined working distance from the image sensor unit, the first light-emitting device containing one or more light sources for illuminating the subject’s skin, and the second light-emitting device containing one or more light sources for illuminating the subject’s skin. The light sources in the first light-emitting device are located at a distance from the image sensor unit and are arranged in such a way that the light emitted by the light sources in the first light-emitting device, which is mirrored from the skin sample at a given working distance, falls on the image sensor unit, and one or more light sources in the second light-emitting device are at a distance from the image sensor unit and are arranged in such a way that the light emitted by the light sources in the second light-emitting device, which is mirrored from the skin sample at a given working distance, does not fall on the image sensor unit.
