FIELD: exhaust gas processing.
SUBSTANCE: catalytic monolithic filter with a wall flow for use in a system for exhaust gas processing contains the first end, the second end, a filter segment determined by the distance from the first end to the second end, the longitudinal direction between the first end and the second end, and the first and the second sets of channels extending in the longitudinal direction. The first set of channels is open at the first end and closed at the second end, and the second set of channels is open at the second end and closed at the first end. The monolithic filter contains a porous carrier having surfaces that define channels, and has the first zone extending in the longitudinal direction from the first end towards the second end for a distance that is less than the length of the filter, and the second zone extending in the longitudinal direction from the second end to the first end and extending in the longitudinal direction for a distance that is less than the length of the filter. The first catalytic material is distributed over the first zone of the porous carrier. The second catalytic material covers surfaces in the second zone of the porous carrier, and it is not distributed throughout the porous carrier.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of exhaust gas processing.
