FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology and regenerative medicine. De-epidermisation of the tympanic membrane is performed along the perimeter of the perforation edge. A collagen hemostatic sponge with a thickness of 1-2 mm is impregnated with a solution containing the main fibroblast growth factor. Then the sponge is placed over the perforation, overlapping the de-epidermal edge of the membrane by at least 1-2 mm. Fibrin glue is applied to the surface of the sponge. The sponge is fixed with a silicone protector in the form of an oblong plate with a thickness of 1-2 mm. Place the plate over the sponge, ensuring complete overlap of the sponge and healthy membrane along the perimeter of the sponge by at least 0.5-2 mm. The opposite ends of the plate are placed in the bony part of the ear canal.
EFFECT: method allows increasing the efficiency of treatment of patients with chronic perforated otitis media, shorten the time of restoration of the integrity of the tympanic membrane, eliminate the need for traditional surgical intervention, shorten the period of hospitalization, as well as the terms of rehabilitation and disability of patients.
