SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. Application anaesthesia is performed. Then the upper epidermal layer of the tympanic membrane is removed within 1 mm from the edge of the rupture along the whole perimeter. Fragment of the “КОЛЛОСТ” membrane, a self-absorbable biomaterial containing collagen, is preliminarily placed in sterile 0.9% sodium chloride solution. “КОЛЛОСТ” membrane fragment is laid on the tympanic membrane so that it covers the entire rupture area. Further, tamponade of the external auditory canal is performed with a fragment of the haemostatic sponge, the size of which exceeds the size of the “КОЛЛОСТ” membrane along the entire perimeter.

EFFECT: method enables recovering the integrity of the tympanic membrane in the shortest possible time without leaving scars, avoiding the development of pyoinflammatory complications, and recovering the auditory function in full.
