FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. De-epithelisation of perforation edges is performed through a transcanal endoscopic approach using fibre laser radiation of power 1.5 W under control of endoscope 14 cm 3 mm in diameter 0°. Then the haemostatic material “Surgecell” and a silicone strip are laid on the surface of the tympanic membrane. Silicone strip is removed on an outpatient basis after 2 weeks.
EFFECT: method enables reducing the invasiveness of the operation, avoiding the use of combined endotracheal anaesthesia, reducing the length of hospital stay, to perform the intervention without additional incisions and without using mucoperichondral grafts in treating tympanic membrane perforations in children with rheumatic diseases under conditions of immunosuppressive therapy.
