FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: inventions group relates to the field of smoking accessories, in particular to devices simulating smoking. The aerosol-generating device comprises a cavity for receiving an aerosol-generating article containing an aerosol-forming substrate. The first air inlet is fluidly connected to said cavity and allows ambient air to be drawn into said cavity. The second air inlet is fluidly connected to said cavity and allows ambient air to be drawn into said cavity. Said first air inlet is made fluidly connected to the central part of said cavity. The second air inlet is made fluidly connected to the peripheral part of said cavity. An aerosol generating system is claimed.
EFFECT: improving the uniformity of the flow of air passing through the aerosol-forming substrate by directing air from said two inlets to different portions of the aerosol-forming substrate of the aerosol-generating article.
