FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to the manufacture of a wood fiber plate of medium density or high density. A carpet of wood shavings or wood fibers impregnated with the first binder is pressed in a hot press to obtain a plate. Before pressing, to the upper side of the carpet, a powdery mixture of dyeing pigments and the second binder is applied as a means for priming. After the application of the powdery mixture, the carpet is sprayed with such amount of water that is necessary to emit steam. The amount of sprayed water is from 10 to 30 g/m2.
EFFECT: printing on the finished pressed plate based on wood material is simplified.
