FIELD: containers; bottles.
SUBSTANCE: multi-layer bottle contains an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner and outer layers are sealed to the bottom and top of the bottle. The sealed joint at the bottom is formed by a protrusion from one of the layers protruding through the other layer. The bottle contains an air inlet or vent located next to a protrusion to allow air to enter the space between the inner and outer layers. A method for forming the bottle is provided.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides for the production of a bottle containing several layers made of both one material and different materials.
