SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine building. The fuel pressure estimation system is configured to estimate a variable fuel pressure for a fuel pressure, which is a fuel pressure in a supply line, for an engine device including an engine having a fuel injection valve and a fuel supply device having a fuel pump that supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the supply line connected to the fuel injection valve. The system comprises a memory device that is configured to store a first display that takes as input first input variables including a pump variable for a fuel pump state, a consumption flow rate variable for an engine fuel consumption flow rate, and a property variable for a fuel property, and outputs variable fuel pressure. The actuator is configured to receive the first input variables and estimate the fuel pressure variable by applying the first input variables to the first display.
EFFECT: providing the ability to detect pressure without a pressure sensor.
