SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of managing network traffic or a resource, for example, a local resource, namely, to the transmission of buffer state reports and scheduling requests in a radio communication network. When transmitting a buffer status report (BSR) and a scheduling request (SR) from communication device (1) to a base station, the first transmission in the first time slot (TS1) of the first duration of the time slot is performed, containing the transmission of the buffer status report (BSR) for a set of logical channels. In this case, the second transmission is performed in the second time slot (TS2) of the second duration of the time slot, containing the transmission of the scheduling request (SR) for at least the first part of the mentioned set of logical channels. The second slot duration is shorter than the first slot duration, and one or more logical channels (LCH a) of the first part have a higher priority than other logical channels (LCH b) of the mentioned set of logical channels.

EFFECT: ensuring that the difference in the required slot/numerology duration of various logical channels is taken into account.
