SUBSTANCE: proposed are an application of the strain of Sodiomyces alkalinus RNCM F-3762 as a producer of an antifungal peptide antibiotic hydrophobin Sa-HFB1 and an application of the resulting hydrophobin Sa-HFB1 as an agent active against pathogens of invasive mycoses with multidrug resistance.
EFFECT: inventions ensure production of an agent with high activity against mould and yeast pathogenic fungi, including clinical isolates, with multidrug resistance to polyenes and azoles applied in medical practice for treating opportunistic mycoses, including cryptococcoses and candidiases.
