where PI is a physique index; SBL - straight body length, WH - width in the hips, SLHR - straight length of the hip region, CD - chest depth, CW - chest width, MG - metacarpal girth, WH - height at the withers. The method for determining the exterior-constitutional type of a cow includes determination of a complex physique index.
EFFECT: inventions make it possible to increase accuracy and objectivity of the method for a comprehensive assessment of the body type of animals.
