FIELD: packing and storage.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to wall (1) of a sealed and heat-insulating tank for storing liquefied gas. Wall comprises one heat-insulating barrier (6) and one sealing membrane (8), which is attached to said heat-insulating barrier (6) and is intended to be in contact with liquefied gas contained in the tank. Heat-insulating barrier (6) comprises insulating panels (7), which are located next to each other in mutually parallel rows and columns. Each insulating panel (7) has an inner surface supporting sealing membrane (8) and is connected to adjacent insulating panels (7) by means of overlapping elements (26). At that, each overlapping element (26) is located with coverage of two adjacent insulation panels (7) and is fixed in recess (25) formed on edge of inner surface of one of two adjacent insulation panels (7), and in recess (25) formed on edge of inner surface of other of two adjacent insulation panels (7).
EFFECT: possibility of uniform distribution of stresses for optimization of service life of the main sealing membrane.
