FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to medicine, namely dentistry. Staining of the studied area of the mucous membrane is performed with an iodine-containing staining solution in an amount of 1 ml containing iodine, potassium iodide and distilled water as a base. At the same time, this solution is applied to a round-shaped hole with a diameter of 1.5 cm of the film “Diplen Denta C”, previously superimposed on the examined area of the oral mucosa with square-shaped solcoseryl with a size of 2 cm2.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to identify and give an objective assessment of the intensity of the latent inflammatory process, as well as to determine the density of the capillary network in the conditions of an outpatient dental appointment.
