SUBSTANCE: method for driving a vehicle includes determining the predicted time, calculating the predicted position of passage using specific information about the vehicle, including at least the position of the wheel at the current time, the speed of the vehicle and the direction of movement of the vehicle, obtaining a value associated with the displacement of the road surface in the predicted position of passage, calculating the final target control force based on the value, associated with the displacement of the road surface in the predicted passage position, and control of the control force generator based on the final target control force. A vehicle control device is also proposed.
EFFECT: preliminary control of vibration damping is achieved.
