FIELD: controlling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security methods and systems for monitoring the buckling state of the seat belt of the vehicle when the vehicle is operated by the driver. The system comprises an imaging apparatus located in the associated vehicle, wherein the imaging apparatus captures an image of the associated driver in the associated vehicle and generates image data characterising the captured image; and a control apparatus containing: a processor; an image data input functionally coupled with the processor, wherein the image data input receives image data from the imaging apparatus; a non-temporal memory apparatus functionally coupled with the processor, wherein the non-temporary memory apparatus stores the security model data containing the recommended range of values of the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the seat belt of the associated vehicle; and a logic control circuit stored in the non-temporary memory apparatus, wherein the logic control circuit is executed by the processor in order to: process the image data for the purpose of determining the operating value of the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the seat belt of the associated vehicle by means of: checking the image data to retrieve the location of the head of the person and checking the image data to determine one or more pairs of interrupting lines of the seat belt below the retrieved location of the head of the person; comparing the recommended range of values for the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the seat belt of the associated vehicle and the working value of the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the seat belt of the associated vehicle and determining the state of compliance of operation of the vehicle as one of: the state of non-compliance of the seat belt in accordance with the first result of the comparison between the recommended range of values for the use parameter of the seat belt and the working value of the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the associated vehicle, wherein the logic control circuit executed by the processor generates the data of non-complacent use of the seat belt in accordance with the first result; or the state of compliance of the use of the seat belt in accordance with the second result of the comparison between the recommended range of values for the use parameter of the seat belt and the working value of the use parameter of the seat belt of the monitored buckling state of the associated vehicle; and an output functionally coupled with the processor, wherein the output selectively receives the data of non-compliance of the seat belt use from the processor and generates a seat belt non-compliance signal characterising the working value of the use parameter of the seat belt, the monitored buckling state of the seat belt, outside of the range of recommended data values of the security model.
EFFECT: ensured monitoring of the state of the seat belt.
